Hiking and Exploring some trails around Whistler on Friday July 29

After we rode some trails in Lost Lake Park in the morning we drove around to see some of the sights.

After Brandywine Falls, we went back to the suspension bridge that links the Riverside Trails

We drove several miles on a dirt road to get to the Cheakamus Lake Trail, which we hiked. But it was too far to Cheakamus Lake so we took a fork to the Helm Creek Hiking Trail. This is the bridge that crosses the Cheakamus River to get to the trail.

This gives a bit of an idea of how dark it is in the trees even when it's bright sunshine above. The darkness is one reason why there's not much growing between the trees
