My first view of Blackcomb Mountain when I arrived in Whistler Village on Saturday night.

View of the C.P. golf course, with Whistler Mountain in the background, from Tin Pants trail in Lost Lake Park.

Tin Pants trail is very well maintained with a wide, firm tread. Even without technical challenges it's fun because twists and turns up and down as a good single track should.

A few feet in you get to this steep ramp. It's not so steep on the other side and the prefered way to ride it is from the other end.

|
 |
This is typical of how Comfortably Numb looks, except in a lot of places there are more roots and/or rocks.

They have a different priority for trail users than what we're used to!

Part of the Green Lake Loop is in the background. It's rated "intermediate." Probably strike this trail off my list of candidates.

This is an unnamed trail in Lost Lake Park that runs into White Gold Traverse and then No Horses.

My guide Cathie winds up the trail. The trees and the clouds, threatening rain, make it really dark, so the slow shutter speed blurs her a bit.

A ramp with a trainer ramp to our right. I rode the wider one.

Another easy ramp in Lost Lake Park

Tin Pants is to the right and No Horses to the left. There are side trails like No Horses all over the place

At one of the trailheads for the A River Runs Through It trail. We walked a few hundred yards in to get a look at it.

There are a lot of ramps here, but usually you can ride on the ground or a ramp depending on what you feel like

This ramp forms and you can ride the log or the ramp to the left
