From the Quality Inn or Comfort Inn on SR 179, ride north about 0.35 miles and then go straight onto Schnebly Hill Rd (179 turns left at this point). The trailhead is a further 0.85 miles along Schnebly Hill Rd.
From the Lo Lo Mai Springs Outdoor Resort, drive north 2.4 miles on Page Springs Rd, turn north-east on Hwy 89A for 8.3 miles to bring you to the Days Inn. From there, follow the directions for the Days Inn.
From the Quality Inn or Comfort Inn on SR 179, ride south 0.65 miles, turn left onto Morgan Rd, ride 1/2 mile to the end, then go right onto the dirt road. The parking area is a few hundred yards further, on the left.

From the Days Inn, ride or drive west on Hwy 89A about 2 blocks, then turn right onto Dry Creek Rd. After about a half mile, turn right onto Thunder Mountain Rd. The trailhead is about a mile further on the left side, at the paved red cinder roadway.

For a few very strong and very good technical riders, there might be a post-ride on a trail Gail built called "Damned if I Know." Gail says that this trail is not for the faint of heart, and he guarantees that if we take 40 riders on that trail, there will be an injury.
